Jussi teaches risk management and analytics courses, and directs analytics executive education programmes at NUS Business School. He is also Co-Director of NUS Business Analytics Center. Previously, he taught at the University of Michigan. He has several publications in the top-tier journals such as Journal of Economic Theory, Review of Economic Studies, Management Science, Operations Research, and Journal of Business on topics such as investment analysis, banking regulation, learning, and strategic incentives. His research has been featured also in numerous business and popular publications, including the Wall Street Journal and Fortune.His research has been supported by several Asian, European, and US agencies such as the National Science Foundation. He serves on the editorial boards of Mathematics of Operations Research, Journal of Risk, Production and Operations Management, and Journal of Energy Markets. He has consulted several start-ups, Fortune 100 companies, and financial institutions.

Mr. Arya received an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University and a BA(honours) in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University.

He is a Fellow & Council Member of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore; and chairs the national engineering promotion committee. He is a resource panel member of the Singapore Government Parliamentary Committee on Finance, Trade & Industry; and contributes his expertise in technology entrepreneurship, science & technology plans, and innovation policy. He is currently setting up the Singapore’s Humanitarian Engineering group, which aims to train humanitarian engineers for disaster response and social development; and to generate innovative products and solutions via social business model.

He has an MBA (NTU), B.Eng (Hons) (NUS), Executive Cert in Innovation & Strategy (MIT), and attended the Science, Technology & Innovation Policy Program (Harvard). He currently writing a thesis on innovation strategy based on technology and market interactions at the Division of Engineering & Technology Management, Faculty of Engineering, NUS.

Mikko S. Niemelä

Chris earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan Business School.

Mikko S. Niemelä

Mikko S. Niemelä is president and CEO of Cyber Intelligence House, a Singapore-based cyber intelligence agency. He is also chairman of Silverskin, a cyberattack company, and author of Anatomy of a Cyberattack.

Mikko holds a degree in computer science and possesses the following certifications: GSNA, GCIH, GWAPT, GSLC and GLEG from SANS and a certificate in global management and corporate governance from INSEAD.

As a serial entrepreneur, Mikko lives for startup heavy-lifting by creating technologies and solutions from scratch. He has been ranked among the top 100 cybersecurity influencers, and in 2017, his company was nominated for the second time in a row for the Cybersecurity 500 list, a global compilation of the hottest and most innovative cybersecurity companies. During his career, Mikko has focused on security testing and auditing information systems, security leadership and management, incident response and digital forensics, cyber defence and exploit development.

Prior to this, Mikko was a trainer for law enforcement agencies such as Interpol, the armed forces and a number of intelligence agencies. He is currently the program director for the Hands-on Cybersecurity Manager program at the University of Free State.

Mikko is currently researching cyber exposure and cyberattacks and their implications for decision-making at both the management and board levels. He previously developed a security metrics model for assessing an organization’s internal security controls. Mikko also holds a patent in cryptography.

Carlos is a dual British and Australian citizen and completed an Executive MBA as part of SUN’s global executive graduate program from Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, Colorado. Outside technology, his passions include Boxing, Kendo and Sailing; all of which he has actively competed in. He also enjoys travelling and has been an avid technology enthusiast since being inducted into his school computer club in the 1980’s.

Joydeep is also deeply involved in helping boards and board members enhance their performance, and has served on several committees to enhance the quality of governance of companies in Asia.

Joydeep received an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad and prior to joining McKinsey, worked with HSBC in various management positions.
